When they left 3 days later, we found that the other nurse and I did our passes to perfection and the facility got high marks for the current conditions. For you laypeople out there, it's similar to being asked to perform a lifesaving CPR on Santa Clause in front of your darling little children early Christmas morn. Save him or else... Wait, no. It's more like being at gunpoint and given only one chance to recall and successfully open the bank vault. Or, maybe it's more like you have to do your job to perfection, a job that includes handing out medications to sick old people, in exactly the correct and proper manner the first time or you will be shamed and scorned and and and forced to drink coffee from the break room instead of taking it from the big silver coffee carafs in the lobby like all the cool people. Yea. Sorry about droning on and on about that, but it's been the focus of our entire workforce at M.E. for the past week. Oh and it was Valentines Day and I honestly didn't care. Yay me!!
